S326: Mastering WORK LIFE BALANCE for a Stress-Free Life!
I asked a room full of 45 business owners, freelancers, and digital nomads if they had a healthy work-life balance - and not one of them raised their hand.
That moment really stuck with me. It reminded me just how easy it is to fall into the hustle culture trap, even when we’ve built businesses designed to give us more freedom.
In this episode, I share my personal story of burnout - four times over - and the mindset shifts I had to make to truly understand what balance means. Spoiler: It’s not about doing more, it’s about doing things differently.
I’ll walk you through how I moved from living in constant hustle (even while living in Bali!) to creating a more sustainable, freedom-focused business.
Here’s what I cover:
- Why your to-do list will never be finished - and why that’s okay
- How hustle culture leads to burnout and what “balance” actually looks like
- Understanding yin and yang energy and how to apply it to your day-to-day
- The truth about building yourself another job vs building a business
- My top practical tips to create more space in your day without losing momentum
- How to tune into your body when it’s telling you it’s time to slow down
- Why setting boundaries, working smarter, and listening to yourself is non-negotiable
If you’ve ever felt like your version of success was costing you your sanity or health, this episode is for you. I’m breaking down what work-life balance really looks like for entrepreneurs - and how you can start building it today. Whether you’re in a 9-5 or already running your own business, these mindset shifts can help you step into the life you actually want.

...Sophie (00:00) I recently asked a room full of 45 people if they had a healthy work-life balance and not one of them put their hand up to say that they did, which I was quite shocked by. So I thought I'd talk about it on this episode of the remote CEO life podcast, because balance is a huge part of everything that I'm doing now in my business. I'm all about creating freedom for ourselves through our online businesses. And part of being able to create that freedom is to be able to create balance in your life, because if you don't have the balance.
You can work as much as you want, but then you're never actually going to be able to achieve the freedom that you want to go and be able to live your life, go and do all of the things that you want to do, spend time with the people that you love. So today's episode is dedicated to balance. And we're going to talk about the fact that that 45 people in that room could not tell me that they had a healthy work-life balance, why that was, and what we're to do about it, if that sounds like it's something that you also are struggling to achieve in your life.
I was actually really shocked by the fact that not one of put their hand up. I was thinking at least like, you know, 20, 30 % might say, yeah, I've got a pretty healthy work-life balance. And bearing in mind, this room was full of business owners, freelancers and digital nomads who are all people who in theory should have a really healthy work-life balance because they have the flexibility to design their days.
Now, when I delved in a little bit deeper as to why this was, it came out basically that people think that to create balance in their life, they have to do all of the work and then take the rest and then take the time off. But that is not actually the case. With this mindset, it is only going to lead to burnout, honestly, because you are never actually going to get the work done. If we think about it realistically, there is always going to be something that we need to do in our lives, in our friendships, in our relationships, in our work life.
In every aspect of life, there is always gonna be something for us to do. So if we adopt the model of, I can play or rest when I finished all of the things that are on my to-do list, we're never gonna ever be able to achieve that rest, achieve that freedom, that playtime. Like, that is never gonna exist because we are so focused on the work part of it, and we're never ever gonna tick off everything on our to-do list.
So we are basically preventing ourselves from actually being able to reap the rewards of the work that we're putting in, let alone rest. We're not allowing ourselves to rest. And this is the same kind of mentality as if you have been working in the same job for 40 years, let's say, and you're like, you know, plodding along every single day, doing the same thing day in, day out. You're working your way up the career ladder, and then you're saying, after the 40 years up, I can go and retire and enjoy my money. Well, how do you even know you are going to get to the age of retirement?
How do you even know that you're gonna earn enough money to go and be able to retire and enjoy it? You know, like this mindset is just crazy to me. Like we're never ever gonna be able to achieve balance or freedom in our life with that mindset of saying, I can only do X when I've done Y. And we'll always look back on the times and be like, I wish I'd enjoyed that more. I wish I'd been able to spend that money because I was saving for this rainy day. I wish I'd had more freedom in my life. Now,
This is where it's frustrating to me to hear that those 45 people don't have a health work-life balance when they are actually able to design their lifestyle. Because having a work-life balance doesn't need to be a luxury. It doesn't have to come with guilt and it doesn't have to be earned. Violin balance is actually about not doing more. It's about showing up differently. So we can still have everything on our to-do list. We can still tick that off. But it's about releasing the timeline on it.
and being like, okay, well, if I can't get this done today, if it's not urgent and I don't need to do it today, I might want to do it, but I don't need to do it today, so I could push that to tomorrow so that I can allow myself an extra half an hour in bed or I can allow myself to take some time for myself today. I can go to the yoga class, I can go for a beach walk, I can go and spend time with my family, I can recharge my batteries. You're showing up more mindfully, regardless of all the things that you've got going on on your to-do list.
Now, a lot of us won't give ourselves the permission to actually do this. They won't give ourselves the permission to say, it's okay, I can move this task to tomorrow. It's like, my God, it's all or nothing. We have to do it now. And I resonate, I really do. This has been me for most of my life. And I got to a point a few years ago where I was like, this can't happen anymore. I can't keep going.
like this anymore because I'm so scared of what would happen if I didn't do the things on my to-do list and I was so sold on this hustle culture mindset which is exactly where this mindset has come from until I realized that hustle culture is absolutely not sustainable and actually that hustle culture is actually what kills quite a lot of people because and I say that metaphorically rather than actually physically kills people it can physically kill people because stress is a killer but metaphorically it just kills your soul it's like you're all you're doing is working
You are not choosing yourself over the things that you've got to do in your day. And that is a really, really dangerous place to be. And that is how burnout happens. And if you've watched any of my content before, you know that I've had multiple burnouts. I will talk a little bit about it in a second, but burnout is so, so, so, so detrimental to your health physically and mentally. And
It takes a really long time, honestly, to come back from it because if you've reached a state of burnout, it means most likely that you have been in the state of chronic stress or overwhelm. Your nervous system's been out of whack for a really long time to get it to the place of burnout. Now, I've had four burnouts, so imagine how messed up my system has been for me to get to that point. And now I'm on this road to recovery from burnout and trying to heal all of the challenges that have...
riddled my body and my mental health, my physical and my mental health from experiencing all of this. And most of those causes of those burnouts came from my corporate career, in all honesty. Like I was in the wrong career. I wasn't choosing myself in my career. And I was allowing myself to be forced or like told that hustle culture.
was the only way that I was gonna be able to succeed. And I fell into that trap. And now the reason why I talk about balance in this way, and I talk about creating freedom for yourself is because I can see how detrimental that has been to me and my life. And I really don't want anyone else to go through that. So that is why I talk so passionately about this subject because choosing balance over burnout is one of the most productive things that you can actually do for yourself. And this is exactly why I now help people create a freedom focused business because honestly, like,
What is the point? Why are we working if we can't enjoy it? Why are we working if we can't rest? Now, I understand that a lot of people don't have any choice but to work. But if we look at it realistically, an average working day is eight hours a day, which means you should have your evenings, you should have your mornings. Now, you are in control of that time outside of your working time. If you're working a nine to five, if you have your own business even better, you are in control of that whole day.
So you can choose how you spend those times. Now, obviously there's other varying factors, which is, I don't know, you're looking after elderly parents, you've got children, you yourself are not well, you're not healthy, I don't know any of the different variable factors, but it's all about choice and how we choose to structure those times. Like, can we eliminate anything that is not working for us in those times to maybe make a little bit of space, even if it's 10 minutes to create space for ourselves?
because it is so, so important. Even that little 10 minute recharge could help you just wake up again the next day and feel really motivated to do all of the stuff that you've got to do. if you would have been one of those people in the room when I asked that 45 people if they had health work like balance, and you also would have said no, you are really gonna wanna listen to this story that I'm gonna tell you now about balance and how you can create more balance in your life. Because trust me, it's not sustainable to not have balance in your life.
So I'm going to share with you a little bit of what I actually shared with that room full of 45 people. And the first thing was the concept of balance. So realistically, we're all going to have a different idea of exactly what balance means. Balance means different things to different people. But if we look at the dictionary description of what balance is, it is a situation in which different elements are equal. Now, if we talk about this in the context of life and business, in reality, nothing's ever equal. We're never realistically going to have an equal amount of time between our work.
and our playtime or our rest time. But it is actually possible in real life to always allow ourselves to create a form of balance that works for us, but not in that traditional sense, not in the dictionary definition. So I always like to refer to the yin yang symbol. The yin yang symbol is a round symbol with a squiggly line in between and a circle on one side and a circle on the other. Now yin yang represents masculine and feminine energy.
Masculine energy is all about like that hustle go go go. We're working really hard We're doing all the things that we need to do the yin energy is more around the feminine energy Which is really soft it allows things to flow it allows us to just be rest being stillness quiet Now the reason I refer to it like that is if you look at yin-yang symbol the two sides are not fully equal at any time Where that division is there are two equal parts, but they're not equal at any
same point in time. And that is a little bit like the definition of our life. We are never just solely or shouldn't necessarily always be in our yang energy and our masculine energy in trying to hustle all the time, trying to work all the time. Ideally, we need both. We need a bit of that hustle, but we also need that yin energy, that feminine energy that is soft and allows us to just like be a little bit more in our balance so that we have the energy to actually do the yang. Like the reason that so many of us burn out and we
We've succumbed to hustle cultures because we've never really understood the concept of being energy because we've never been allowed to just pause, allowed to stop. We've always been told that you have to work hard for success, particularly if you're from certain countries. That's just how things are done. But actually, there's two parts to a yin-yang symbol. There's two parts to balance. We need both because if we didn't have both, that circle would fall apart. It would be two separate parts. So for us to be a whole thing,
we need to have those two things together. So it really is an interesting subject balance because realistically it doesn't exist in the true definition of it, but it does exist if we are able to be flexible and create our life around how we can incorporate both of those elements, the yin and the yang.
So if I tell you a little bit more about my own personal experience with filing balance and how I've been able to integrate balance into my own life and the reasons why I've done that, you might understand why I'm a little bit more passionate about this subject. if you've listened to any of my content before, you'll already know some of my reasons, but let me share a little bit more of your story. obviously I've had my own business now for the past five years and have I had balance in that whole time? Absolutely not. I...
have gone through times where I felt like I could be more balanced and I've gone through times where I haven't felt very balanced. But what I came to the conclusion of in the past like 18 months to two years is that I, when I started my own business, actually created myself a job. I didn't start a business, I literally created myself another job. And when I did that, I realized that actually that job didn't work for the lifestyle that I wanted to live because
I'd gone from London, I was working like super, super hard, super fast paced. I've only ever known to work in that yang energy. I've never really known how to work in that yin flowy soft energy. So I was going full steam ahead, but then I moved to Bali and I was on this really soft chilled island where my London hustle culture vibe did not fit in to Bali's.
barley spiritual, flowy, entrepreneurial wellness vibes. So I had to adapt. I had to adapt very quickly and I had to understand like, why was I feeling so burnt out even though I was living on an island? Now,
The reason I've always been in this young energy up until the point that I would say that I moved to Bali and started realizing that I needed a bit more of this balance was because I've always worked my whole life. From 16 years old, I worked. I worked seven days a week to gain experience at the same time as being a student, at the same time as working in a shop. was interning. I was doing so many different things because really early on from the age of 16, even before that, all I wanted to do was earn money.
That's all I wanted to do. So I knew that I needed to gain experience to expedite my career. So then I spent 12 years working in the corporate fashion world as a buying manager for some of the world's biggest fashion brands, right? Like I was working for Ralph Lauren, Diesel, Kate Spade, Burberry, like all of these places, very high pressure environments. If you think about the fashion industry and you think about Devils vs Prada, yes, there's an element of truth in that. is a very, it can be a very toxic and high pressure environment. So...
Whilst on paper I had my dream job and I was flying to New York every few weeks and I was managing big teams and I was responsible for a 380 million pound business, I was actually internally miserable and experiencing extreme anxiety. I was consumed by my job and I really didn't allow any time for anything outside of work. Like I literally just did work all the time. And if someone was like, you need to stay late tonight. I'd like, okay, I'd never think about the consequences. Bear in mind, I've worked since I was 16 and I've always been like that.
from 16 to the age of 28, that was my career in the fashion industry. And all I did was like push really forcefully ahead to try and climb that career ladder unknowingly to me that at some point later down the line, my body was gonna crash and be like, you can't sustain this. You are going to burn out if you keep going at this speed. although the signs were there, like the misery, the anxiety, the panic attacks that I was having going to work every single day,
I wasn't listening to the signs. everything, my body was telling me to stop, but I just kept pushing through. And even to the point where like, I would go to New York for work with Kate Spade and I was there really frequently. Every couple of few weeks I was there. And I would go on the plane and I would go straight from the plane and I would go straight into work again. like, I really...
I never took a break. I just didn't take a break. Even at my weekends, I couldn't sit still. I was constantly wanting to do things, be productive, go and do all of the things. So it wasn't until I started realizing that there was a world outside of the 9 to 5 when I first went to Bali, and a world outside of this hustle culture. In 2017, I went on holiday to Bali and was like, what are all these people doing working on their laptops? So...
I started to expand myself into what could be possible. How are they living this beach town life? This is something that I want, but I don't know how to get it. But I knew that I wanted it, and I knew that I wasn't fulfilled in what I was doing. I knew that at some point I was gonna reach a breaking point, and I was gonna have to leave. And multiple times throughout my career, I reached a breaking point, to the point where I was like, can't sustain this anymore, I'm gonna have to leave the job.
what I kept doing was thinking, maybe it's just the job. Like I'll leave and then I'll go to a different company. And I did that multiple times. And every single time I felt the same, I started falling back into this trap of like, you know, working really hard and thinking that if I just got to a certain point, I would be fine. And then I would be able to take a break, but that is not how it works. And then I went finally,
did get to a point where I burnt out so much that I couldn't continue with my job and I ended up leaving and then starting my business. I actually just fell back into the same trap. was still trading time for money. was still living and working in London, 12 hour days. We were in lockdown bearing in mind when I first started my e-commerce consultancy business and I was literally just working, working, working. And I was at the mercy of all my clients. I was exerting so much energy and that was super fun because money was coming in and I was being featured in those places and e-commerce expert.
being asked on TV shows, I was being asked to comment on press features. I really felt like my business was peaking at certain points. Like, so I didn't want to slow down because I saw the momentum. saw all of these things doing really well. And I thought that that's what success was. But what actually happened is that I got to this peak and then I full on crashed because I just couldn't sustain it. The time that I was spending working was not sustainable. I was just focusing on
only that, like I wasn't focused on looking after myself. I was anxious. I was going through like different mood situations. So I burnt out like multiple times and it took me a long time to learn my lesson. So I burnt out twice when I was working in London and then another time whilst I was in Bali and then another time a little bit later on in Bali. So there was a few times where I burnt out in this period of about a two year span and I was like, okay, have to have something has to change. Like something really does have to change and
Even though I was in different environments and I thought maybe that would help and I was constantly looking at external factors until I finally got to a point where I realized I have to change. It's nothing to do with my external factors. If I don't make a change and create more balance in my business and allow myself to take the rest, I wouldn't be able to do this on a long-term basis. And I recognized that and I started to look back and say, if I don't change something,
something is gonna go seriously wrong here, Eva. I'm gonna have to like go to my worst case scenario and move back to the UK, which is not what I want and go back to a job because I can't sustain the momentum. If you're not feeling okay in your business, how are you meant to survive? Like how are you meant to keep it going every single day? So I realized when my mental health was that bad, I just couldn't keep going like this. And even though I'd resisted this change for so long and I'd built this thing that I thought was a success.
I wasn't going to be able to do this much longer. So it took me a long time to come to that realization. But when I did, it was like a really harsh realization of like, you're going to have to start again. You're going to have to like rebuild this business into something that you want to want to wake up for and do every single day. You want to build a business, not a job. And I remember always listening to this Jenna Kutcher podcast and she was like, if you are still trading time for money, if you are still waking up and your business can't run without you.
you haven't built yourself a business, you've literally built yourself a job and that is literally how I felt. So for the past couple of years, I've really been focusing on rebuilding everything in a way that is sustainable. It's not just gonna burn me out. I don't have to show up every single day in my business for it to be making money. And my version of success has completely changed. I no longer focus on the fact that my business is making the money. I'm more focused on the fact that I wanna be recognized as a leader in the field and having a team for me to help run my business.
and waking up just feeling really excited and happy and content because that is the true ultimate goal of freedom is you can have all of the money, can have all of the time, you can be in whatever location, but unless you wake up feeling good every single day, don't have it. None of it is worth it. So I can't stress it enough that if you're feeling like you are on the verge of a burnout or you are on the verge of like fully succumbing to hustle culture and
Just being in that yang energy all of the time, it is so important to take a step back, look at your life and analyze what is actually giving you energy and what is sucking that energy away. Because it's like I say, it's just not worth it. It's not worth it if it is causing you stress, if it's causing you anxiety, because what will happen later on down the line when your nervous system calms down or you get a minute to just rest, it will have a knock-on effect on your mental or your physical health.
So what did I do? What did I do to actually make more balance in my life? So the first step is recognizing that that's something that you need, right? You have to, whether you're in a nine to five job, whether you are running your own business, if you feel like you've got an unhealthy work-life balance and you are not taking time to rest for yourself, the first step is recognizing that. Self-awareness is normally the key to everything. And basically you need to put...
you need to change your mindset, essentially. That's the first thing. Nothing is going to change unless you change your mindset. Because if you are in the mindset of always stepping into that hustle culture, that yang energy is more important than your yin energy, you're never going to be able to make space for that yin energy to come through. So the first step is looking at your mindset and saying, right, is this sustainable? Is this making me happy? Am I able to continue working in the way that I have been working? Or is at some point this all going to come
crashing down? Have I built myself a job or have I built myself a business? Is this job that I'm doing sustainable for me? So really looking at your mindset is the first step and understanding the situation and understanding what's going on. The second step is incorporating really strict boundaries. So saying no to things, like even if you are working for an employer and they ask you to do overtime, say no. Say you need to go home. You need to recharge your batteries.
You do not have to work any more than your contracted hours. But so many people will because they don't have the boundaries. They don't know how to say no to people. So even though it's scary and yeah, people might not like it when you put boundaries in place, you're going to lose a lot of friends. You're to lose a lot of, I don't know, respect from people because they think that you are always saying yes to things. They think you're a yes person. And then suddenly you start saying no. That is really confronting for people.
So you're going to have to expect that that to happen, but know that if someone is pushing back on your boundaries, they are not the right person you should be working for or with, depending on who you're putting that boundary in place with. So highly recommend once you've got that mindset sorted, you are then putting the boundaries in place. Also thinking about how you can work smarter and not harder. So can you outsource anything? Can you implement systems in your business or your job? What can you automate?
How can you make your life easier and what jobs are on your plate right now that are sucking your energy? So really looking at it from an analytical standpoint and saying, this isn't good for me. I don't enjoy this part. How can I remove that or how can I outsource that? How can I automate that? But I do love this thing. How can I get more of that? Because when you put more energy into the things that you love to do, you've got a little bit more capacity to deal with the things you don't like doing, right? So it's all about, again, balance between those two things.
The other thing is taking breaks, like really, really thinking about how can you take more breaks in your day to day? How can you take actual time to rest and recuperate yourself at the weekend or like however you structure your week, taking actual time to just sit and be and not fill your time. Now this is so hard for really high performing people or like people that are constantly used to being in that hustle culture on the go. This is so challenging and it's something that I still struggle with.
is just sitting and being no phone, nothing, just like being with myself. Now the best way you can do this, in my opinion, is to get yourself out into nature because if you go on a nice little walk in a beautiful location, you are not gonna be thinking about wanting to be on your phone, you're not gonna be thinking about wanting to have a conversation with someone, you're not even gonna be in your own head because you're gonna be looking at the beautiful views.
So if you can, if you are in that phase where you're like, I'm gonna take a day off, I'm gonna rest today, get yourself into nature because it is the best way to recuperate yourself. The other thing that you can do is really start listening to your body. So any form of anxiety, any form of depression, any panic attacks, any gut issues, any mental health issues, any skin issues, usually is your body screaming at you to ask for attention and saying, there is something wrong.
Can you fix this? can you solve the problem right now before I get to a point of no comeback? So really having a think about how is your body telling you that it needs a break? How is your body telling you that it needs a rest? How is your body telling you that it wants to go and play? So it's really tuning into how you feel when you are feeling good and when you are feeling bad. And when you are feeling bad, what is making you feel bad? Really analyzing, is it a person? Is it your environment? Is it a situation?
Is it a thought process that you've got? How can you eliminate those things that making you feel bad and do more of the things that are making you feel good and allow your body to speak, allow your body to say what is going on? Because it will. If you've got severe acne, there is probably something going on internally. If you've got gut issues, your gut is where you produce 70 % of your serotonin, maybe even more than that actually.
but you are producing your happy hormones. So if you're feeling anxious, there's probably an issue with your gut. looking at what's the root cause of these problems? Is it a circumstance? Is it an environment? Is it a job? Really looking at what is holding you back, and even that, just freeing yourself of something, is gonna create more balance in your life. And these were all the steps that I ultimately took to create more balance in my life. Now, do I think I've got the ultimate balance? No, I don't. I think I still...
flip between being in my yang energy and my yin energy and sometimes it's not fully balanced. But like I said, that's just life. We can't aim for being perfect. We just have to aim for little steps. Now, I definitely think that there's opportunity for all of us to create more balance and we just need to make really like micro changes. I'm not sitting here telling you to go and quit your job, change your whole routine, change your whole business, but there will be micro changes within all of those things.
that you can make to be able to get more in flow, more in the balance. if you do resonate with this message, if you have been burnt out before, if you feel like you're out of alignment, I would really love for you to analyze what is happening for you. And one exercise that you can do to identify if you're in the right situation is visualize your dream day, a dream day in your life. What does it look like? How are you spending your time? How do you feel throughout that day? And then you can compare.
that visualization to how you're actually feeling today. How far is it? Maybe you're just a slight little bit off or maybe you're really far away from it. And if you're really far away from it, I highly, highly suggest that you make some small micro changes in your life to get you one step closer to that. And whether that is, you know, walking away from a job that's really toxic and finding something else, whether that is walking away from a relationship that doesn't align with you, whether that is making a change if you've got a business or feel like you want to start a business because you want more of that time location.
freedom in your life to be able to create more balance for yourself. That is small steps that you can put in place to make those changes. It doesn't have to be the full change straight away, but just like little micro changes. So think about what of those changes can you do? The other thing I want to leave you with is like the amount of hours that you put in does not determine success. Actually working more smartly and overworking more tirelessly can really, really help you.
And if you can set yourself up to work smarter, not harder, you're going to be in your business for the long run because you're not going to burn out. You're not going to feel sick of what you're doing. You have created yourself natural business that you can reap the rewards from rather than job that you have to show up for and do every single day. So based on all of that, the reason why I'm so passionate about this subject is because I've lived it. I've experienced it. have.
gone through the burnouts, I've gone through the pain, I'm still going through the pain. If you watched one of my last episodes, I talked about the histamine intolerance that I have and the flare ups that I get. Actually, I have a flat right now, you can probably see all the rash on my neck. And I'm still battling this on a daily day to day basis. And all of the pain and all of the struggles that I have right now are from years and years and years of chronic stress in an environment and a job that was not working for me. Like I shouldn't have lived in London as long as I did.
I shouldn't have stayed in my nine to five career as long as I did. I shouldn't have put up with certain people in my life for as long as I did. And as soon as I eliminated that life got so much better. And now I am allowing to attract in the right opportunities, the right people, because my frequency has changed. I am on another level than I was back then. And I'm feeling so much better about that. So know that even if you don't have a balance in your life right now, know that if things are feeling really difficult.
You can change it, but you have to take the action and have to make a choice to change it. It's not just going to happen for you. And that is why I have all of the resources that I do to offer people to help them, help them make the change, because a lot of people don't know what they, what they want for themselves and how they want to feel. So for example, my Find Your Freedom Model Masterclass actually talks you through like, how are you going to, how do you want to show up in your life? Like what do want your life to look like?
What strengths and passions have you got that you can do more of in your life? What do you need to eliminate? So if you're thinking about making that shift from a nine to five into creating an online business, that would be a really good place to start. Might find your freedom model masterclass. And then I also have a free quiz that helps you figure out if you want to start an online business, which one would be most suitable for you? Because what you don't want to do is build a business that doesn't align with the things that you want in your life. That doesn't allow you to create that balance. That doesn't allow you to have that freedom goal that you are desiring.
because otherwise you might as well stay where you are today, right? So definitely looking at your life, taking audit of all the things that are working, all of the things that are not working, 100%.
Analyze that and then see what small micro changes you can make to create more balance in your life. And I promise you, you will thank me for it. And you will also thank yourself for making those changes because you're going to feel so, so much better. again, if you were one of those people in the room that when I asked the question, do you have a healthy work-life balance? And you wouldn't have put your hand up. This episode is something you need to really pay a lot of attention to, whether it's from my advice or somebody else's.
Please, please, please don't ignore the fact that you don't have a healthy work-life balance because it will come back to bite you later on. So please make a change. I'm fully, fully supporting the demise of hustle culture. It should never have existed and I hope that it doesn't exist forever. I'm all about promoting balance over burnout. So let's create a more balanced lifestyle together.
